Refueling: Remove the metal insert from the case and slowly saturate the cotton filling with standard lighter fluid. Reinsert once slightly damp.
Wick Maintenance: When the flame becomes weak, gently pull up the wick with tweezers and trim the blackened end.
Flint Replacement: When the spark becomes weak or disappears, unscrew the flint spring at the bottom of the insert and replace the flint with a standard
