Inspired by the serene elegance of Casa Polanco, this candle captures the feeling of a tranquil refuge tucked within the bustle of the city. The beautifully restored Art Nouveau mansion is known for its ivy-covered Juliette balconies, soaring arched doorways, pristine white walls, and cool marble floors. Hidden behind a leafy wrought iron gate, the space offers a peaceful retreat where the fresh scent of crisp linens and lush greenery drifts in from the neighboring parque.

The fragrance blends bright and herbaceous notes of verbena leaf, key lime, violet absolute, clove basil, and frankincense, creating a clean and refreshing scent with a soft, botanical depth.

Each jar features hand-painted illustrations by artist Freddy Terriquez—when he’s not helping pack candles, he’s sketching some of Roen’s favorite designs. The beautiful vessel is designed to be re-loved and reused long after the candle has burned.

Roen candles are hand-poured in their Southern California studio using a coconut and soy wax blend for a clean, natural burn. Each candle is crafted with a lead-free cotton wick and premium fragrance oils. All candles are vegan, cruelty-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free, carcinogen-free, and packaged in fully recyclable materials.
